This soap dish made in Locust tree was created by Alexis Dzimira, craftsman carpenter and founder of the Atelier du Hibou based at l'Hermitage (a third place located in Autrêches, not far from Pierrefonds).
To keep well a cold saponified soap, it is essential to have a good soap dish allowing it to dry properly (on both sides). Surgras soaps tend to soften and it is important to take good care of them if you want to use them for a long time, avoiding them to wear out too quickly.
